About Us
Naval Group India is a wholly owned subsidiary of the French naval defence leader Naval Group, that is headquartered in Paris, France.
Established in September 2008 to strengthen Indo-French cooperation and support India's maritime self-reliance, it has its presence felt in 3 major cities Mumbai, New Delhi and Karwar. As a key partner in India’s strategic defence initiatives, we are proud to contribute to the Indian Navy’s P-75 program, playing a vital role in the indigenisation of technologies and supporting the successful delivery of the Kalvari-class submarines.
Our operations in India extend beyond design and build as we actively support the repair, maintenance, and lifecycle sustainment of the Kalvari-class fleet, ensuring high availability and operational readiness. With a strong local presence and a focus on spares management, supply chain optimisation, and industrial partnerships, Naval Group India is deeply committed to the vision of ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ in defence.
